Puppy School leads to Delta Pet Partners
Having a dog is a wonderful experience and having one that is well trained is even better. I'm really glad Wolfie and I participated in Dee's puppy school 1 and 2. It has brought discipline into our relationship and allowed us to explore new opportunities such as joining the Delta Pet Partners program.
Lots of people ask me what it takes to become a pet partner team.... When I say, "Its pretty easy, your dog just has to obey you", most people don't look too confident. I encourage everyone to take their dog to 'school'. In the end, it's really the 2 legged family members that need the training more than the four legged ones. Its very important to be able to communicate and relate to your dog consistently and in ways they can understand.
Rascal our German Wire Hair pointer is also a graduate of Dee's courses. Following on from his puppy classes last year, Rascal continues to participate in the Canine Lifestyle classes. Wolfie and I also completed the Clicker Training course last year and found it very worthwhile. Training him to do tricks is so much quicker!

I havn
't had a dog for over 20 years and therefore needed to learn quite a lot about the best way to train my Labradoodle puppy "Bella". She is learning very quickly, is crate trained and a joy to have as a member of the family, don't know what I did without her. Bella started Puppy classes at 9 weeks of age and fell asleep on her first night...as I was the one that needed to learn, we left her to have a snooze ! At the end of puppy class Bella could do most things. After puppy advancd, she can do everything with verbal or hand signals. She's also getting better with staying and coming when called. I can take her for walks, with minimal pulling. Last but not least, Bella just loves the play sessions with the other puppies, it's been really fun to watch them...Taylor is her favourite friend. We are looking forward to some off lead training, I'm sure that will be challenging. Thanks for everything Dee, the help you give us and the questions you answer for us at each class is really invaluable. I just know that Bella is going to be one great "Therapy Dog" when she grows up. Regards Kelly
Taylor, our Jack Russell , is quite the little terror!
He's a very intelligent ball of energy and definitely a step up from our previous dogs.We were certainly aware of what we were taking on, and that we'd need help in making sure Taylor would have a happy and successful life with us. We've worked through the two Premium Puppy Classes with him. Dee's professional and caring attitude helped us through a few rough 'Terrier' patches. Taylor's turning out to be a happy, mischievous and much loved addition to our family. There's certainly much more to be learned (and taught), so we'll be continuing Taylor's, and our, education with Dee's considerable patience and skills to help us along the way.

Sultan Yates
Our puppy Sultan attended both first and second levels of puppy training with Dee and Andrea, and we found the sessions extremely effective in assisting us to raise our boy with beautiful manners. We will continue to use the valuable lessons learned, knowing they will bring out the best in Sultan and the best in us as his guardians and friends.
