Dog's Day Out

Sunday 22nd August 2010 was the Dog's Day Out and a very big day for us at Positive Response Dog Training. It was nice to see so many of our clients, and to see how much their pups had grown and how well behaved they all were. During the day we also had a few of our younger trainers join in a demonstration of their fantastic training skills. One outstanding performance was from Hannah who not only put on a great show but did it all with a dog that wasn't hers (Many thanks from 'Amber' the husky for being the perfect pooch)! Here are a couple of photos from the demonstration that day.

Keeping in touch...

We always love hearing from our former clients about what they've been up to and all their successes. Most recently we heard from one client who's taken the agility world by storm. Anne-Marie and 'Dino' most recently took out 1st and 3rd places at their last agility trial. Goes to show where a bit of training and dedication can take you.

May/June 2010

Already we're halfway into the year and hasn't it just flown! Must be due to all the fun we've been having in class that seems to make the time pass so quickly :) Check out some fresh new faces for the chilly winter season.

One of our more famous faces, Dexter, graduates. Look out for this lil guy we have celebrity hopes for him.

Right: No wonder Rambo our shepherd won the best trick competition. Here is a photo of a practice run at home. Devon lines his legs with a piece on the floor. Rambo must "Leave It", (yes he is a positive response graduate) then on command is allowed to eat. He excelled at the Christmas party and Laurne from Barkin Beautiful who was judging said she had never seen such control!

Tazzie the Schnauzer has celebrated 3 birthdays with us here at Positive Response. Tazzie and owner Richard commenced puppy classes with us 3 years ago, worked their way up to and enjoy our lifestyle classes. Just goes to show what ongoing training will do for your dog.

Koby our fun loving Staffy started classes with Tazzie. Here he is celebrating his first birthday too. Cakes, party hats and presents are all part of the big day. Koby until late last year was also in our lifestyle classes and once mum's baby is old enough we hope to see him back in training.

Cookie the amazing chocolate labradore has come up through all our classes and at the age of 5 months can do it all. Cookies mum sent us in this picture of cookie taking a well deserved break from classes over christmas.

Doggy Art Christmas Party 2007

Our Christmas parties are never dull or boring. We teamed together with the Pet Cafe last year and our lifestyle 4 legged students all painted on canvas for the audience. Santa is always there and it's fabulous to see the family photos that are created with Santa. Why not come along each year to our special Chrismas celebrations. They are held at the Cleveland Pet Cafe.
