Canine College 2
Wow, you got your dog past the basics and then what? This extension course following on from canine college 1 introduces a valuable tool called the clicker. Not only will you be able to expand the basic work taught in your previous class, you will be able to teach lots of tricks and other behaviours. Teach your dog to come on hand signals only, drop from a distance, give you a bow, and to leave objects on the ground and not touch them. There is so much this class can offer you and your pet. Dogs love nothing better than mental stimulation and thrive on work. Owners have fun shaping a suprise they show off in their last week of class.
Course Information
- 4 week (4 hour) course all with your dogs
- Basic Principles of Clicker Training
- Extension and proofing of existing exercises
- Teaching new exercises - less body and voice to get more out of your dog in training
- Shaping (getting natural behaviours on cue)
- Walking - close to owner
- Shopping with your dog - the Cleveland Pet Cafe way
- Chaining Behaviour ( several commands together)
- Train Tricks - fun with your dog
